Call for Manuscripts
The Journal of Citizenship and Morality (JCM), published under the Department of Civics and Ethics at the College of Law and Governance, is pleased to announce an open call for manuscripts for its upcoming issue. JCM is a biannual, peer-reviewed academic journal committed to fostering scholarly discourse on citizenship, ethics, governance, and the moral dimensions of contemporary societal challenges. JCM invites submissions of original, high-quality research articles, review papers, and critical essays that explore themes related to:
- Citizenship and its evolving definitions in a globalized world
- Morality and ethics in political, social, and economic systems
- Governance and civic responsibility in diverse cultural and political contexts ∙ The role of education in fostering citizenship and moral values
- Interdisciplinary perspectives on civics, ethics, and morality
- Ethical dilemmas in public policy, law, and human rights.
Submission Guidelines:
- Manuscripts should be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. ∙ Submissions must adhere to the APA 6th Edition formatting and citation style (Follow the Author' Guidelines at https://journal.mu.edu.et/index.php/jcm/about/submissions ∙ Manuscripts must be anonymous
- The author's name, affiliation, address, and any identifying details should be written on a separate page.
- The main manuscript should not include any information that could identify the author(s). ∙ The Manuscript length is limited to 10,000 words, including references.
Peer Review Process:
All submissions will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality scholarship.
