About the Journal

Ethiopian Journal of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Production (EJVSAP) was established in 2017 by Mekelle University. It is a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary open access e-journal dedicated to provide the advancement and dissemination of scientific knowledge on veterinary sciences, biomedical sciences, animal production and related disciplines. It covers all the scientific and technological aspect of veterinary sciences and animal production. The aim of this journal is to publish high quality papers regularly, twice a year published in English. There is no cost to the user to read or publish manuscripts.

EJVSAP is e-journal with its identity number ISSN: 2616-4647, .is a free access e-journal devoted primarily to the original contributions containing original scientific findings in any of the science fields, having national or international appeal and significance.

Focus and Scope of the Journal
EJVSAP is a peer-reviewed journal targeting on publishing original contributions and review articles in the major fields of veterinary sciences and animal production. It encompasses on all clinical, medical, scientific, livestock production, and all major fields of application in veterinary sciences and animal production. Manuscripts on Veterinary sciences, Animal husbandry, Ethology, Animal nutrition, Anatomy, Biological science, Pathology, Infectious diseases, zoonosis, Animal physiology, Animal breeding, Animal biotechnology, Food Safety, Pharmacology, Medicine, livestock products processing technology, socioeconomic studies on livestock resources and by products, disease economics, meat and milk hygiene and related disciplines are accepted. 
Research article, short communications, clinical reports, invited review papers, general review articles, book reviews, letters to the Editor, comments, policy briefs, critique of published materials, and information related to conferences can be published. Manuscripts from scientists working in academic institutions, research centers, field practitioners, industry, companies and other consultants in Ethiopia or elsewhere, having national and international interest are accepted for publication.
