The East Africa Journal of Health Sciences (EAJHS) provides immediate open access to all published content under the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge, especially in health sciences where access to information is vital for public health improvement.

All articles published in EAJHS are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits anyone to copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially, provided that the original author(s) and source are properly credited.

There are no subscription charges, registration barriers, or fees for access to published articles.
